Privacy Policy
How we handle your information.
Last updated: September 16, 2026
Bashboard (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates getbashboard.com (the “Site”), a free tool for browsing event theme ideas. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit, and how it’s used.
Information You Provide Directly
Bashboard does not require an account or login. The Site’s Theme Generator and browsing features can be used without submitting any personal information.
The Site has a Contact page with a form (name, email, topic, message). This form does not send information to our servers or store it anywhere — it is entirely handled by your own device, which opens a pre-filled email in your email application addressed to hello@getbashboard.com. We only see what you send if you choose to send that email yourself. Bashboard currently has no database and does not store any information you type into that form.
Information Collected Automatically
Analytics. Bashboard uses first-party analytics provided by our hosting platform (Lovable) to understand how visitors use the Site — pages viewed, general navigation patterns, and click activity. This sets a session cookie named session-id, which lasts 30 minutes and is used only to group activity from a single visit together. It does not identify you personally.
Hosting logs. The Site is hosted on Cloudflare’s infrastructure. Like virtually all websites, this means standard server-level logs (IP address, browser/device type, timestamps) are generated as part of normal web traffic handling, for security and performance purposes.
Fonts. Bashboard loads two typefaces (Fraunces and Inter) from Google Fonts. This means your browser makes a direct request to Google’s servers to download those fonts when you visit. Google may log that request as it would for any font request. We do not control what Google does with this data; see Google’s own privacy policy for details.
Cookies
The only cookie currently set by Bashboard itself is the session-id analytics cookie described above. We do not currently set marketing, advertising, or cross-site tracking cookies.
If you continue using this site after Bashboard begins showing advertising through Google AdSense, this section will apply: Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google’s Ads Settings at adssettings.google.com. More detail on how Google uses data when you use our site is available at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Third-Party Links
Some pages may link to outside vendors, retailers, or resources for event planning. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those external sites, and encourage you to review their own policies.
Children’s Privacy
Bashboard is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will address it.
Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no consistent industry standard for how sites should respond, Bashboard does not currently alter its behavior based on this signal, beyond what’s described above (no data is stored or transmitted from the contact form regardless).
Your Choices
Since Bashboard doesn’t require an account and doesn’t store personal data server-side, there is no personal data on file to request or delete. You can control cookies through your browser’s settings at any time; note that blocking the analytics cookie doesn’t affect your ability to use the Site.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the Site changes — for example, once advertising is added, or if new features (like accounts) are introduced. Material changes will be reflected with an updated “Last updated” date above.
